Elite 11 2014: Scouting Reports

Facebooktwittermail

The Elite 11 is an annual event where eighteen quarterbacks are invited to compete for the chance to be named one of the Elite 11 quarterbacks in the nation.

It takes place next month prior to The Opening and this year involves quarterbacks with rankings ranging from 5 stars to a quarterback that is not even ranked.

Here are some notes on the participants and below that you will find links to every quarterback taking part this year.

– Seven of the quarterbacks this year come from California. It just reinforces the fact that it’s a loaded year in that state for the position.

– There are two quarterbacks from the state of Michigan, three from Texas, two from Florida, and one representative each from Washington, Arizona, New Jersey, and Missouri.

– Ryan Brand is the ultimate underdog of this competition. Air Force appears to be his only FBS offers as of right now. Hopefully this experience will open up some teams into taking a look at him during his senior season.

– Ross Bowers is an under the radar player from the state of Washington who I think may turn some heads at the event. I like what I saw from his film and would not be surprised to see him earn some more offers this summer and as a senior.

– Each of these participants are also invited to The Opening.

– See below for the links to the scouting reports.

Update: added Torrance Gibson who is also taking part in the event now.
