Scouting Report: Chase Claypool – 2016 Athlete

A couple of months ago, not many college football fans that follow recruiting had heard of Chase Claypool. Heck, not many college football coaches had heard of him either.

He has gone from unknown to possibly the top prospect out of Canada in a short amount of time and it’s easy to see why. He is an impressive physical specimen at his age and could project at several positions at the next level.

Scouting Report: Jordan Fuller – 2016 Athlete

Every coach wants players that are technically sound, but I like players who play multiple positions more than just one even if that player isn’t as polished as some others. Most of the time that just means the upside can be that much greater once the right position is chosen for them at the next level.

Old Tappan High athlete Jordan Fuller is capable of playing multiple positions at the next level, but I believe his greatest upside is on the defensive side of the ball. I think he has a very bright future as a safety, but time will tell if that is position he ultimately ends up sticking at in college.

Scouting Report: Ahmir Mitchell – 2016 Wide Receiver

With schools playing quicker and quicker and emphasizing volume in terms of plays in a game, the short pass has never been more prevalent than it is today. That means that players who can make plays after the catch are also more valuable than ever.

That’s why Ahmir Mitchell is such a highly recruited player and considered one of the top receivers in the nation. He can do a lot of damage whenever he touches the football and schools like Ohio State, Michigan, and Notre Dame all hope he is doing that damage for their program in the next few years.

Scouting Report: Dwayne Haskins – 2016 Quarterback

Last year’s recruiting class was fairly deep in terms of higher end talent at the quarterback position, but from what I have so far in this cycle, there aren’t as many blue chip type players in 2016.

Dwayne Haskins is one of the elite quarterbacks in this class though and has the tools to be a big time player at the position at the college level. He’s a coveted player by several schools all over the country.
